Biography



yGary Laws has served in the Christian ministry for over 30 years. He is a graduate of The Salvation Army College for Officers Training in Chicago, Illinois having served in the pulpit for seventeen years. In addition to his years as a Salvation Army Officer, he served 15 years in other Salvation Army ministries across the United States.

In June of 2008 it was necessary for Gary to leave the full time Salvation Army ministry to care for his diabled wife, Susan. They have been married 43 years and they have 5 children and 22 grandchildren.

Today, Gary preaches on weekends bringing his pulpit experience to bear in Churches desiring to enhance the lay ministry of their church.a

His ministry journey has taken him to New York, Chicago, San Diego, Miami and many other cities in the United States. Today, in semi retirement, he writes on a variety of biblical subjects with a central focus on personal Christian growth and service, bringing to bear over 30 years of practical Christian ministry.

Laws was ordained to the Christian ministry in 1980 and has spent these past 29 years ministering to a wide range of people from the pulpit, in the streets, through music and in many other practical ways.
Reverend Laws is a frequent speaker at evangelical churches. His books are based upon the innerrant word of God, the Holy Bible.

Teaching the Faithful

Gary D. Laws is available to your church for special meetings. These meetings focus on teaching Christian laypersons to become engaged in the overall ministry of the Church.

This preaching series concentrates on helping Christians discover God's will for their lives. It encourages the laity to begin sharing their faith in a variety of life circumstances with the singular goal of introducing others to Jesus Christ and the Church.

Gary Laws is the author of 'That God May Use Me', a 229 page book which provides biblical instruction to Christians on effective evangelism. It is a step by step study that begins with how to personally prepare onself for lay ministry and it establishes the need for all Christians to become engaged in the sharing of the Gospel.




What We Believe


1) We believe that all mankind has sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God and is in need of forgiveness and regeneration.

2) We believe in the Trinity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit who are coequal in power and glory. The three in one Godhead.

3) We believe that only Jesus can forgive sin and restore mankind to his proper relationship with God the Father.

4) We believe in the literal existance of Heaven and Hell.

5) We believe in the inerrancy of the Holy Bible in it's original form and language.
